A basic 2-place piston trainer helicopter.  The success of the simple design led to the development of the 4-place R44.  Also available with the following Lycoming engines O-320-A2C, O-320-A3C and O-320-B2C.  By the glossary definition, with a Useful Load of 486 lb (220 kg), the Empty Weight is calculated to be approximately 369 kg.
