The CJC-1A Hummingbird Model A was the first Chinese helicopter.
"The Hummingbird Model A was a single seat coaxial helicopter powered by a 125 shp Kinner B-5 piston radial engine and it took MG C.J. Chu a full year to complete the design. During a ground test, the rear right wheel’s tie down cable screw was pulled off the ground due to the softness of the ground fasteners. The aircraft tipped over and both of its 25-foot rotor blades struck the ground, immediately damaged the aircraft."
