The first helicopter of Kaman, using the synchrocopter (intermeshing rotor) configuration.  The aircraft was built from a car chassis and solid wood 2-blade rotors.  During flight testing of the 2-place synchrocopter with tricycle landing gear, Kaman had also begun development on the K-190.
