First flight of the Bell 525 Relentless

This is a Notable Operational milestone.
Description:
The prototype (registration N525TA) flew from the Bell facility in Amarillo TX (the world’s first commercial helicopter designed with a fully digital fly-by-wire (FBW) flight control system) (see VERTIFLITE September/October 2015, Page 12).
The second prototype (FTV-2 - registration N525BK) flew on 23 Dec 2015 (see VERTIFLITE March/April 2016, Page 6).
The third prototype (FTV-3) flew 22 Apr 2016 from Amarillo, TX (see VERTIFLITE July/August 2016, Page 6). This aircraft was more heavily instrumented to cover load survey testing.
